Sunflower Grief Support and Wellness Coaching

I have a very informal style of counseling and have been told that it feels more like talking to a friend than a counselor. Our sessions will be tailored to your specific needs, whatever they may be that day. Somedays you might just need me to listen. Other days you may want more feedback, coaching and direction. I am here for all of it.

I have supported hundreds of individuals who have lost loved ones. My clients range from bereaved spouses of all ages, bereaved parents of all ages, bereaved children of all ages and every other loss imaginable. I am not a licensed counselor. My grief coaching experience stems from my years as a hospice bereavement coordinator. I'm certified in the art of traumatic grief counseling and compassionate bereavement care via the MISS Foundation, headed by Dr. Joanne Cacciatore. I am certified in thanatology (The study of Death, Dying and Bereavement) via the Association of Death Education and Counseling.

I am also a certified health and wellness coach via Emory University. Much of my grief counseling naturally turns into wellness coaching as you eventually start to navigate what your new life looks like. Often times the death of a loved one causes us to reprioritize and one of the top priorities becomes you! Allow me to help you form and achieve your goals, however big or small.
